The Schump Family 2016
This photoshoot took place in a gorgeous backyard in Berthoud. I love a good juxtaposition and pairing the fancier dresses with leather jackets and cowboy boots for us girls felt perfect. The dark maroon and pale pink looked beautiful together, and the boys rocked shades of black and grey. It complemented the girls maroon and pink, but also looked great with the weathered backgrounds of the barn and fences.
I loved how this felt a little bit glamourous and at the same time completely casual and relaxed. The cowboy hats allowed so many fun moments that really allowed each kid’s personality to come through. An extra accessory or two can provide the photographer so much flexibility to create different looks without having to change outfits completely, so I am always prepared with a few options when I show up to a shoot.
