The Schump Family 2015
This is one of my favorite family photo shoots. The style for this shoot was inspired by Claire’s little green dress and adorable riding boots. I loved how the color and the fur tied into the natural background, but the style of the dress and placement of the fur collar reflect her sassy personality. (Yes, this was her personality even at 4!) I then kept with the same colors, brown, green, camel, and black for the entire family. Joe’s plaid shirt was a perfect find and tied all the colors together.
Wade’s green sweater and Hank’s black sweater and alternating colored pants carried on the theme. My green dress with my camel sweater vest allowed me to move comfortably while posing with three rambunctious children, but also was flattering and coordinated with the rest of my family. I loved being able to bring in my fur scarf as needed to slightly switch up my look and coordinate with Claire’s fur collar. The black in my necklace finished the look, which wouldn’t have been complete without some of my signature bling.
